Hey Everyone! Welcome to my new blog! My name is Nikki and I am the photographer behind Faux Tography.
Just to introduce you to my business, I thought I would start with this first post.
The main question I get is why did I call my business "Faux Tograpphy"? That's really very simple. I love to take photos and edit them with what I call "faux actions" to give them more "pop" off the screen and add more feeling (i.e. black and white, bright sepia, color curves, etc). But I do love to take photos with natural feeling!
I am a natural light/on location photographer. I love to do sessions in my clients homes, in parks, by the capital, on the pier, wherever I can create beautiful shots, so pretty much anywhere!
I started as a children's portraiture photographer, and have recently started dipping into maternity. I also offer engagement sessions, bridals, live births, and newborns.
I decided to set up a blog so that I can share sessions with my clients and my fans. I hope this can be a fun place to view new photos, learn a little about my life, and my interests, and share my passions with others!
